110 METRES HURDLES




Men start from the block and straighten the barrier of 10 m3 ft 6 in (107 cm) and extend to 110 meters.

One reaction time - Beginner is measured by pistols and sensors in blocks - Less than 0.1 is considered that a false start and runners will be recalled, and the responsible athlete will be disqualified.

Once the race is running, then the first hurdle will be 13.72 m, followed by 9.14 m and then the final barrier 14.02 m.

Obstacles are easily dropped down on the touch, which allows the athlete to continue the race, even if it collides with them. But a runner can be disqualified if he steps out of his designated lane.



400 METRES HURDLES




Athletes run around 400 meters of track and clears ten equally distant obstacles in this process. They start with the blocks held on staggered posts and walk in the streets.

A reaction time measured by the sensor on the blocks - less than 0.100 - is considered a false start and all the runners are called back. Any athlete responsible for the false start is immediately disqualified. An athlete can also be disqualified if he steps out of his designated lane or runs.

Male clear barriers which are 36in (91.4cm) high; Women interact 30in (76.2cm) barriers. Obstacles are easily dropped down on the touch, which allows the athlete to continue, even if it collides with them.
